Yesterday I had the great privilege of launching our youth training sessions at the Henry Brown, these sessions that will be known as C.A.M Club to reflect our respect, support and collaboration with Changes Are Made will be held every Monday at the Henry Brown centre, it’s all about offering boxing to the young and giving them an outlet, giving them the opportunity to get involved of an evening in something fun around people who care about their community.
The first session was absolutely brilliant and we welcomed 20 local young persons in for a fun, high energy, interactive session, which included boxing basics, boxing related games and activities, thank you to our local MP Jessica Toale, Michelle Dower - Kinson and the Howes Councillor Duane Farr who all attended our session and stayed throughout, all West Howe Community Enterprises the kids, the parents and have fantastic feedback after.
Massive thank you to my team, Benji and Alfie who come along and helped me coach the attendees, you guys were brilliant and I’m very grateful for you both being there.
This session and the upcoming sessions have been talked about for a long time with the Henry Brown team, Fran, Kathy and Will run on behalf of West Howe Community Enterprises.
Seeing this happening, knowing how much it is already and how much it is going to make a difference means so much to me and I can’t thank everyone who come along to support it enough.
Thank you all and let’s make genuine positive change now, we really can if we try
